AWG held a Bowling Morning on the 30th of October at the Al Massa Bowling Centre. The ladies were divided into six teams with names – Forerunners, Still We Rise, Astrolabe, Solitary Reapers, Defying Gravity and Synergy. Ishrat, 2nd VP and Activities Director of AWG, thanks philosopher Gibran, poet Maya Angelou and William Wordsworth for the inspiration behind a few of the names. “The team names are more related to the diverse essence of women rather than bowling,” explains Ishrat.
